Dr. McColl is a licensed clinical psychologist with advanced training in neuropsychology and over two decades of experience providing comprehensive assessment and evidence-based therapy to children, adolescents, and adults.

She completed her doctorate in Clinical Psychology at McGill University, in a program accredited by the CPA and APA and recognized by the PCSAS. She holds a Bachelor of Science (First Class Honours) from Queen’s University and a Master of Science in Psychology from Dalhousie University.

Dr. McColl specializes in neuropsychological assessment, with particular expertise in ADHD and executive functioning, learning disorders, as well as complex cases involving concussion and mild traumatic brain injury, epilepsy, PTSD, memory concerns, and cognitive changes associated with aging and hormonal transitions, including peri-menopause. She also provides empirically supported psychotherapy for anxiety, attention difficulties, and coping with medical conditions and life stressors.

Her clinical training includes specialized neuropsychology experience at the Montreal Neurological Institute and the Montreal Children’s Hospital, where she worked within the epilepsy unit, neurotrauma, developmental & behavioral pediatrics, and outpatient services. She has also provided assessment and therapy services to adolescents and adults at the Jewish General Hospital and the Douglas Institute, including work in cognitive behavioural therapy and chronic pain clinics.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. McColl has a strong research background spanning migraine, visual perception, ADHD, concussion, clinical trials, and women’s health. She has presented nationally and internationally and has served as a scientific consultant collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and leaders in Canada, the United States, and Europe. She has also contributed to non-profit initiatives supporting children and schools in Indigenous communities.

An experienced educator, Dr. McColl has taught psychology and research methods at McGill University, and Dalhousie University. She is tenured at Vanier College, where she continues to teach and mentor students in psychology and neuropsychology.

Dr. McColl is known for her thoughtful, integrative approach, combining careful assessment with compassionate, evidence-based care. Her work is grounded in helping individuals feel understood, supported, and guided forward, with the goal of promoting clarity, resilience, and meaningful change.


Dr. Ste-marie, phd

Child Psychologist/Pédopsychologue, Co-Founder

Dr. Ste-Marie is a highly skilled and compassionate psychologist with extensive expertise in supporting children, adolescents, and families. She holds both a master’s and doctorate in Educational Psychology from McGill University, specializing in School/Applied Child Psychology with a Minor in Applied Developmental Psychology. Her doctoral training included a rigorous internship at the Child Psychiatry Day Hospital Program of the Jewish General Hospital, where she gained invaluable experience working with children and their families in a multidisciplinary clinical setting.

Over her career, Dr. Ste-Marie has provided psychological services in a wide range of settings, including non-profit organizations, public and private schools, hospitals, and private practices. She has worked with children as young as six months to adolescents in high school, addressing a variety of developmental, learning, emotional, and behavioral challenges. Her work is deeply rooted in evidence-based practices, and she tailors her approach to the unique needs of each child and family.

Dr. Ste-Marie specializes in comprehensive psychological assessments for children and adolescents, identifying issues such as learning disabilities, ADHD, anxiety, and behavioral difficulties. She also provides individual therapy for children and adolescents and offers parental coaching, helping families navigate challenges and build strategies to support their child’s development and well-being.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Ste-Marie has conducted research on topics such as the impact of anxiety, social stress, and parenting styles on adolescent behavior. She has presented her findings at national and international conferences and has published in peer-reviewed journals, contributing to advancements in the field of child and adolescent psychology.


Dr. Zygmuntowicz, phd

Pediatric Psychologist

Dr. Zygmuntowicz is a pediatric psychologist specializing in the psychological and physical well-being of infants, children, and adolescents and their families. For over 15 years, she has had the privilege of working with families to find solutions that are individually tailored to their priorities while keeping the best interests of the child at the forefront of her work.

Dr. Zygmuntowicz’s expertise is in pediatric psychology (concerns related to medical and developmental issues), behavioural, and developmental assessment and therapy gleaned initially from doctoral-level training in school and applied child psychology from McGill University. Her training has included APA approved internship in the United States, international, local, and remote research, as well as internships in various local hospitals and schools. She continues to engage in regular education and teaching to stay abreast of current research and therapeutic techniques and share her knowledge.

Dr. Zygmuntowicz has worked at the Montreal Children’s Hospital where she has enjoyed more than 15 years specializing in child development and pediatric feeding disorders. She is typically involved in the following cases: adolescents with elevated stress, parent coaching (for behavioural concerns, parent role development/coping), feeding disorders of youth, helping individuals cope with anxiety/depression, managing tics, assessing and coping with neurodiversity, managing stress and difficult transitions including divorce, self-esteem, coping with medical issues, and assessment/intervention for difficult behaviour/symptoms (school/academic functioning, autism spectrum disorder, tantrums, anger/rage, impulsiveness, worry, sadness).


Jacqueline miller, m.Ed.

Ms. Jacqueline Miller received her Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from McGill University. She completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at McGill University and was trained in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) under the supervision of the pioneer of CBT in Montreal, Dr. Michael Spevack (affiliated with the McGill University Health Centre). She has been a tenured faculty member of the Psychology Department at Vanier College for over 20 years and has been a regular guest on Dr. Laurie Betito’s CJAD 800 iHeart Talk Radio show, “Passion with Doctor Laurie”.  

She has over 20 years of experience helping adolescents and adults address issues of anxiety, including generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder and phobias. She also specializes in the treatment of depression, PTSD, and performance anxiety. More recently, she has developed a keen interest in working with the elderly to address their unique emotional and psychological concerns.

Ms. Miller’s training and treatment methods are both evidence-based and culturally sensitive. She brings a deep awareness and sensitivity to the needs and concerns of vulnerable populations. Her therapeutic approach combines empathy with solution-focused strategies to promote meaningful change in her clients’ lives.

Ms. Miller has a wealth of experience developing and facilitating group workshops in the areas of stress management, performance anxiety, career development, and cultural diversity and wellness practices in the workplace.


 

Line Parent, B.Sc.OT

Occupational Therapist

Mrs. Parent is a highly experienced occupational therapist with over 35 years of clinical practice across pediatric and adult populations. She currently works at the Montreal Children’s Hospital and brings her expertise to our clinic on a part-time basis, offering services during evenings and weekends.

She works with children from infancy through adolescence who present with developmental delays, neurological and neurosurgical conditions, feeding and sensory challenges, and functional needs following injury or complex medical care. Mrs. Parent is known for her calm, compassionate, and family-centred approach, supporting children and parents in achieving meaningful progress in everyday activities.

In addition to her pediatric practice, Mrs. Parent has extensive experience working with older adults, supporting functional independence in the context of typical aging and age-related changes. Her work focuses on optimizing mobility, fine and gross motor function, cognitive functioning, and performance in daily activities, with an emphasis on safety, participation, and quality of life within the home and community.

Mrs. Parent has also been a long-standing lecturer and clinical supervisor at McGill University, where she has been recognized with multiple awards for excellence in clinical education, mentorship, and professional leadership.
